Your data-protection rights

Last updated: 24 July 2026

Under the EU / UK General Data Protection Regulation you have the following rights over the personal data Festival Jockey holds about you:

  • Access — get a copy of your data.
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — delete your account and personal data, subject to legal-retention obligations for booking records.
  • Restriction — pause processing while a dispute is resolved.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON).
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling.
  • Withdraw consent — for anything based on consent, at any time.
  • Complaint — lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.

How to exercise them

The fastest way is directly from your account:

  • Account settingsDownload my data exports every record we hold about you as JSON.
  • Account settingsDelete my account permanently removes your profile, traveler profiles and unbilled records. Paid bookings are anonymised but kept for the legal retention window (up to 7 years for tax/accounting).

You can also write to us at support@festjockey.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Data shared with providers

When you book a ticket, stay or travel, we transmit the minimum data necessary to the provider. That provider becomes an independent controller of that data and you must exercise your rights against them directly under their privacy notice.
