Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Festival Jockey. By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Festival Jockey is

Festival Jockey is a technology platform that helps you discover events and assemble a trip (tickets, accommodation, travel) from third-party providers. Festival Jockey is not the event organiser, hotel operator or air carrier, and does not sell tickets, rooms or flights on its own account. Each provider's own terms and conditions apply to the ticket, room or travel component you book through them.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority in your country) to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Pricing and payment

  • Festival Jockey charges a service fee (5% of the trip subtotal, minimum US$5) via Stripe. This fee covers the platform and fulfilment orchestration.
  • The provider amounts (tickets, stays, travel) are charged to you directly by the respective provider under their terms.
  • All prices are shown in the displayed currency and may change until you confirm checkout.

4. Cancellations, changes and refunds

Cancellation, change and refund rights for tickets, stays and travel are set by the relevant provider and apply directly between you and that provider. Contact the provider first. The Festival Jockey service fee is non-refundable once fulfilment has started, because the platform work has already been performed.

5. Traveler information

You warrant that the traveler details you submit are accurate and that you are authorised to submit them for each traveler in your party. Incorrect names or ID data may cause providers to deny boarding or entry; Festival Jockey is not liable for those consequences.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, resell tickets in breach of organiser rules, scrape our systems, or interfere with other users. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Festival Jockey is not liable for the acts, omissions, cancellations, delays or insolvency of any third-party provider. Our total liability for the platform itself is limited to the service fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law (including, for EU consumers, statutory consumer rights).

8. Consumer rights (EU/EEA)

For consumers in the EU/EEA, the statutory right of withdrawal for travel, accommodation and event services is generally excluded by law (Art. 16(l) Consumer Rights Directive). Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.

9. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Festival Jockey is established, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts there. The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-product before they take effect.
